A Grain Of Mustard

When you cook broccoli, a lot of the antioxidants escape when compared with fresh broccoli. But adding a cruciferous vegetable, even in a very tiny amount, restores the antioxidants back into the cooked broccoli. You could do this by adding cabbage, brussels sprouts, radishes or any other cruciferous vegetable, but the one that is the smallest is a mustard seed. Put mustard seed powder or mustard seeds whole into the broccoli and all the goodness is restored!
